Dave Lizewski, also known as Kick-Ass, is the main character in the Kick-Ass movie franchise. He first appeared in the 2010 film Kick-Ass, portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Dave is an ordinary teenager who decides to become a real-life superhero despite having no special skills or training. He purchases a wetsuit online and begins patrolling the streets of New York City, fighting crime under the moniker "Kick-Ass."
His initial attempts are clumsy and unsuccessful, but he gradually improves and attracts the attention of other vigilantes, including Hit-Girl and Big Daddy.
